About the Role
TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Database Engineer to support our enterprise database systems and lead migration projects, including STIMA database migration and optimization. The role requires expertise in database design, administration, and performance tuning, with the ability to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable database operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet business requirements
* Lead database migration projects (including STIMA migration) ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
* Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization
Ensure high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and data security standards are met
* Collaborate with software and infrastructure teams for seamless system integration
* Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance issues proactively
* Maintain technical documentation and provide database-related support to developers

Required Skills & Expertise
* Hands-on experience in database administration and engineering (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle)
* Strong knowledge of database migration tools and techniques
* Experience in STIMA or similar platforms (migration/maintenance)
* Proficiency in query optimization, stored procedures, and triggers
* Familiarity with cloud-based database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL, etc.)
* Understanding of data security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in large-scale database migration projects
* Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
* Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD integration for databases
* Exposure to data warehousing and ETL pipelines
