Job Summary
SymuFolk is hiring a Data Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud-based data engineering technologies.
Key Responsibilities
▪️ Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark.
▪️ Build data ingestion and transformation workflows from APIs, databases, and cloud storage.
▪️ Work with Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar data platforms.
▪️ Optimize data pipelines, SQL queries, and ensure data quality.
▪️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
▪️ Maintain documentation and follow Git/version control best practices.
Required Skills
▪️ Python & Advanced SQL
▪️ Apache Spark / PySpark
▪️ ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
▪️ Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift
▪️ AWS, Azure, or GCP
▪️ Data Warehousing & Lakehouse Concepts
▪️ Git & REST APIs
▪️ Query Optimization & Performance Tuning
▪️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements
▪️ 2–3 years of Data Engineering experience.
▪️ Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and cloud platforms.
▪️ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
