Assistant Manager – Tax

- Position: Assistant Manager – Tax

- Location: Lahore
- Salary Range: 90k to110k

Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance & Filings
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, WHT, etc.).

Ensure timely submission of all tax-related documents and payments to FBR and other regulatory authorities.

Maintain proper documentation for tax audits and inspections.

Tax Planning & Advisory

Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities within legal frameworks.

Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.

Keep management updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.

Reporting & Reconciliation

Reconcile tax balances in financial statements with SAP B1.

Monitor input/output tax adjustments and maintain accurate ledgers.

Support the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in financial reporting.

Coordination & Audit

Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Support internal and external tax audits, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Collaborate with accounts and finance teams for smooth data flow and accurate reporting.

Requirements:

- Qualification: ACCA, CA Inter, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent.

- Experience: 3–5 years in taxation (corporate/industry experience preferred).

Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act, and Withholding tax rules.
