A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for 'Assistant Manager Import' for its Head Office based in Karachi.
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in import operations, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of import regulations, banking instruments, and SAP.
Excellent coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and report daily aging of import POs, banking instruments, shipments, and document retirements.
Coordinate with banks, DRAP, customs, and insurance companies for timely processing of import cases.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Negotiate and manage trade terms with suppliers, banks, and agents.
Handle documentation for customs clearance and bank settlements.
Maintain accurate records for audits and ensure timely issue escalation
