Job Opening: Assistant Manager - Import
Location: Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi
Key Responsibilities:
Track non-negotiable documents and vessel arrivals at Port Qasim/Karachi Port.
Handle retirement of import documents and prepare pay orders for customs clearance.
Monitor the customs clearance process through the PSW online system.
Coordinate with clearing agents, port authorities, shipping companies, freight forwarders, and transporters to ensure timely import order execution.
Generate monthly clearing bills and cost sheets on Oracle.
Prepare details of imported consignments for the insurance department.
Arrange transportation for imported consignments by working closely with the logistics team.
Develop budgets for imported consignments on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Strong attention to detail.
Experience:
3-4 years of relevant experience - advantage with garments experience .
