Assistant Manager - Compliance

Unity Foods Limited is currently hiring an Assistant Manager - Compliance

Location: Karachi

Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance of Management System according to implemented/applicable Food Safety, Halal and QMS Compliance & Regulations standards at Group level.
2. Support, develop & Update Systems’ documentation such as SOPs, Manuals, Work Instructions, Policies and Procedures related to Food Safety, Halal, QMS and other related standards in coordination with concerned dept. custodians and seek approval from MR/FSTL.
3. Maintain and manage document control system after approval of MR/FSTL and ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
4. Conduct On-site gap analysis, GMP Audits, risk assessments based on schedule Audits and communicate gaps to concern HODs to ensure their controls accordingly and follow-up till closure.
5. Provide in-house Trainings to the employees regarding system SOPs, Food Safety, Quality & Halal.
6. Participate external Audits on the implemented National/International Standards.
7. Follow up to take corrective actions with evidences for all Internal & External Audit reports from concern HODs.
8. Monitor and verify activities to ensure compliance of the developed system during scheduled audits.
9. Collect and maintain as an Input to Management Review Meetings.

Job Requirements:
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology or a related field.
Experience: 5–6 years of relevant experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in Food & Beverage manufacturing.
Strong background in Quality Management Systems, Food Safety, Halal Compliance, and Internal/External Auditing.
