Experience with real-time transactional systems, especially ride-hailing or logistics platforms, is a plus. Key Responsibilities Monitor and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks (CPU, RAM, disk I/O, indexing, query execution). Analyze and optimize slow SQL queries and execution plans. Implement and manage High Availability (AlwaysOn, Replication, Log Shipping) and Disaster Recovery strategies. Ensure database uptime, stability, and reliability during peak-traffic periods. Implement indexing strategies, table partitioning, and data archiving for large datasets. Investigate, diagnose, database backups and recover databases during crashes or system failures. Collaborate with development teams to support database integration, optimize queries, and maintain SQL Server Agent jobs. Monitor alerts, analyze logs, and proactively identify and resolve issues. Manage user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring database security and compliance. Manage high-transaction, real-time systems, ensuring consistent performance under heavy concurrency.
