Position: Manager โ Taxation & Compliance Affairs
Location: Islamabad / Rawalpindi
Key Responsibilities:
โข Develop and implement effective tax strategies to ensure compliance with all applicable local, provincial, and federal tax laws.
โข Manage corporate tax matters including income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other statutory levies.
โข Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in a timely manner.
โข Ensure compliance with FBR regulations and other regulatory authorities.
โข Handle tax audits, notices, assessments, and correspondence with tax authorities.
โข Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
โข Coordinate with finance and accounts departments to ensure accurate tax reporting and documentation.
โข Maintain proper record-keeping of tax documents, payments, and compliance reports.
โข Identify tax-saving opportunities and implement effective tax planning strategies.
โข Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and legal advisors when required.
โข Prepare and submit regular tax compliance reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
โข Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or relevant field.
โข Professional certification such as CA (Finalist), ACCA, CMA, or equivalent will be preferred.
โข Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in taxation and compliance affairs, preferably in construction, real estate, or group of companies.
โข Strong knowledge of Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act, and other applicable tax laws of Pakistan.
โข Experience in handling tax audits and regulatory matters.
โข Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
โข Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
