Job Overview:

Pakistan Agriculture Research is looking for a motivated and field-oriented Supply Chain Associate to support our sourcing and export operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys on-ground work, building vendor networks, and contributing to international supply chains.

The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing used cooking oil from local restaurants and coordinating its processing and export to the US market.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Conduct regular field visits to restaurants and food businesses to source used cooking oil

2.Develop and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners and vendors

3.Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand the sourcing network

4.Ensure proper collection, handling, and storage practices in line with company standards

5.Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely pickups and shipments

6. Support export operations by assisting in documentation and compliance requirements

7.Track inventory levels and maintain accurate records of collections and dispatches

8.Continuously explore ways to improve supply efficiency and vendor engagement

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel within the city for field work

Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics processes

Ability to manage multiple vendors and work independently

Good organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in procurement, field operations, or vendor management

Familiarity with export procedures and documentation is a plus

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
