R&D & Product Development Specialist

🚨 We’re Hiring | R&D & Product Development Specialist.

Hamdam Paper Products (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a highly innovative, research-oriented, analytical, and commercially focused professional to join our team as an R&D & Product Development Specialist.

The role is ideal for an individual who can independently research, evaluate, develop, test, and improve products, materials, technologies, and solutions across diverse industries and product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

*Conduct research on new products, materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.

*Lead the development of new products and improvement of existing products based on market and business requirements.

*Research and evaluate diverse product categories, including paper & packaging, wood, plastics, metals, printing materials, industrial products, machinery, technology, IT-related products, and other materials/solutions.

*Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities and product trends.

*Identify alternative materials, suppliers, technologies, and cost-effective solutions.

*Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, product comparisons, and preliminary costing.

*Coordinate prototype development, product trials, testing, and validation.

*Analyze product performance and recommend technical and commercial improvements.

*Research and evaluate local and international suppliers, products, specifications, and capabilities.

*Explore innovative, sustainable, and commercially viable product opportunities.

*Prepare R&D reports, product specifications, feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and management presentations.

*Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Quality, Finance, and other relevant departments throughout the product development cycle.

🎓 Qualification

*Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Product Design, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Technology, Chemistry, IT, or any other relevant technical discipline.

*Candidates from other academic backgrounds may also be considered based on strong and relevant practical experience in R&D or Product Development.

💼 Experience

3–7 years of relevant experience in:

Research & Development

Product Development

New Product Development (NPD)

Product Innovation

Materials Research

Manufacturing R&D

Diversified or cross-industry R&D experience will be highly preferred.
