Solutions Architect - AWS Data

Looking forward to connecting with experienced Solutions Architect - AWS Data with 8+ years of industry experience for an onsite opportunity at Kavtech Solutions (Private) Ltd. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions on AWS

• Architect and implement cloud-native data platforms, including data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Redshift)

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data engineering solutions

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring best practices in data engineering and AWS usage

• Optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency

• Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices across AWS environments

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and infrastructure automation

• Support DevOps initiatives with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions, etc.)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with AWS

• Strong command of AWS services for data engineering: Glue, Redshift, Athena, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Cloud Formation, IAM, API Gateway

• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with PySpark/Spark is a strong plus

• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows and data models

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security best practices

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Proven track record in delivering end-to-end data engineering projects and leading small teams

• AWS Certified (minimum: 2 Associate or 1 Professional level)

Preferred / Good to Have

• Experience with Azure (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)

• Familiarity with Databricks and Delta Lake architecture

• Exposure to data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
