Senior AI Test Engineer

Macrosoft Pakistan is looking for a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿.

 

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄:

We are looking for a Senior AI Test Engineer to lead end-to-end quality engineering initiatives by leveraging AI-powered testing, agentic workflows, and modern automation frameworks. This role requires strong expertise in Playwright, combined with hands-on experience in API & database testing, and the ability to independently drive testing strategy and execution across the lifecycle.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

 • Design, develop, and scale automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) 

 • Own and drive end-to-end testing strategy and execution across UI, API, and database layers 

 • Implement AI-driven testing approaches, including self-healing automation and intelligent test generation 

 • Leverage AI code editor tools like Cursor AI / Microsoft Copilot / Azure AI to improve productivity and quality 

 • Build and execute agentic testing workflows, enabling autonomous test creation, execution, and optimization 

 • Perform robust API testing (REST) and database validation 

 • Validate data across systems using SQL Server / Snowflake queries and data pipelines 

 • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) 

 • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality engineering best practices 

 • Analyze defects, identify root causes, and drive continuous quality improvements 

 • Mentor junior team members and contribute to QA innovation and strategy 

 

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:

 • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (UI + API automation) 

 • Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript 

 • Extensive experience in API testing and database testing 

 • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in: 

 • SQL Server

 • Snowflake

 • Proven ability to drive end-to-end testing independently as a senior resource 

 • Solid understanding of test strategies, test design techniques, and QA methodologies

 • Experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as: 

 • Cursor AI

 • Microsoft/GitHub Copilot

 • Azure AI services

 • Knowledge of agentic AI testing concepts (autonomous agents, LLM-based workflows)

 • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git)

 

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

 • 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering

 • Strong expertise in test automation framework design and implementation

 • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

 

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲:

 • Experience with AI-based testing tools (self-healing, visual testing, intelligent test generation)

 • Knowledge of performance and security testing

 • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)

 • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

 • Understanding of prompt engineering for QA use cases
