Job Title:     Purchaser (Accessories, Trims, General Items)

Location:      Faisalabad (Preferred Faisalabad Candidate) 

A leading Garments Manufacturing Unit looking for Experienced Purchaser.

Job Summary:

·      Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies that align with company objectives. 

·      Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices, and terms.

·      Oversee the purchase order process from creation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. 

·      Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess industry trends, pricing, and product availability.

·      Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize excess inventory. 

·      Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses. 

·      Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, production) to align purchasing activities with business needs. 

·      Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and budget adherence for management review.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:

Education

MBA in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

3-4 years of experience in procurement within an apparel manufacturing environment.

Strong experience in trims & accessories sourcing, vendor management, and general items procurement.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Skills & Competencies

Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.

Detailed understanding of trims and accessories specifications and quality requirements.

Proficient in MS Excel, ERP purchasing workflows, and data analysis.

Strong communication and cross-department coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and urgent tasks.
