Production Officer

Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Officer to support efficient production operations, ensure smooth shopfloor coordination, and drive operational excellence at our manufacturing facility in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze daily production reports, including output, efficiency, downtime, rejection, and scrap data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

- Develop and maintain work instructions while conducting time and motion studies to optimize line performance and productivity.

- Coordinate material requisitions with Store and Warehouse Teams to ensure seamless production operations.

- Maintain accurate production records, work-in-progress (WIP) data, and shift handover documentation.

- Support manpower deployment, attendance management, and overtime coordination across production lines.

- Liaise with Quality and Maintenance Teams to address defects, rework requirements, equipment breakdowns, and corrective actions.

- Drive 5S implementation, housekeeping standards, and safety compliance across the shopfloor.

- Timely escalate material shortages, production delays, quality concerns, and operational challenges to the Production Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field

- 2–4 years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, assembly line operations, shopfloor coordination, or plant operations.

- Strong production reporting, problem solving, and data analysis skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office application, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Experience working with ERP systems and production-related software.

- Strong understanding of material tracking and manpower planning

- Effective cross-functional communication and coordination skills
