📝 Job Summary
The Pricing Associate will be responsible for developing competitive and profitable pricing solutions, specifically within the freight forwarding and supply chain industry.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market conditions and industry trends.
- Prepare quotations for air, sea, and land freight, including FCL, LCL, and other logistics services.
- Analyze cost components such as freight charges, surcharges, customs-related costs, and local handling fees.
- Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, agents, and vendors to obtain competitive rates.
- Maintain updated pricing sheets, vendor contracts, and freight rate records.
- Ensure pricing accuracy and timely response to RFQs, tenders, and spot quote requests.
💼 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in the International 3PL / Freight Forwarding / Supply Chain / Logistics industry
- Hands-on experience with pricing for air, sea, and land freight.
- Familiarity with shipping lines, carriers, agents, and vendor communication.
