Hiring for Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Position: Mid-Level SQA Engineer
Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi – On-site
Company: Catalyst IT Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual & automated).
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across web and mobile applications.
Ensure fintech/trading platforms meet accuracy, reliability, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure quality across SDLC.
Log, track, and manage defects using Jira/Notion or similar tools.
Conduct API testing, database validation, and cross-platform testing (iOS/Android).
Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster deployments.
Document test results and provide clear quality metrics and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual + automation).
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.
Experience with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Appium.
Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation.
Familiarity with SVN /Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Experience
Background in fintech, trading systems, or enterprise applications.
Exposure to security and compliance testing (ISO/PCI standards).
Knowledge of cloud environments like AWS/Azure.
