Imtiaz is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented "Microbiologist" with hands-on experience in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product safety, conducting microbiological testing and maintaining compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
📍 Location: Karachi.
🎓 Qualification:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology / Food Science.
💼 Experience:
* 3–4 years of relevant experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
* Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques and food safety standards.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality systems.
* Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
* Perform environmental monitoring (air, water, surface swabs) to ensure hygiene standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
* Identify microbial contamination issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
* Maintain accurate lab records, reports and documentation.
* Coordinate with production and QA teams to ensure quality standards are met.
* Participate in internal and external audits.
* Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
