B.Sc. Textile Engineering / MBA / BBA with 12 to 15 years of garment manufacturing experience
This role leads the sewing production function at ILA, ensuring optimum resource utilization, achievement of production targets, and compliance with PPC, QMS, and EHS standards. It oversees stitch-to-pack planning, smooth execution of production schedules, equipment efficiency, and strong coordination with P&S, QA, Merchandising, IE, and Lean teams. The position drives daily performance through floor monitoring, issue resolution, RFT/OTD improvement, waste and WIP reduction, and implementation of Lean tools such as 6S, Kaizen, Kanban, ANDON and 8-step problem solving. It ensures quality-at-source, supports PDCA, minimizes DHU, manages accurate production/WIP reporting, and maintains audit-ready documentation. Additionally, the role focuses on people development through training, performance feedback, motivation, and strict EHS compliance to maintain a high-performing sewing operations team.
