Manager / Senior Manager - Maintenance & Utilities

Ismail Industries Limited is looking for an experienced Manager / Senior Manager - Maintenance & Utilities for one of its verticals, Allume Solar Company Private Limited, to join our team at Port Qasim, Karachi. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish the equipment management system, operating standards, SOPs, and inspection and preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment.

- Plan and oversee equipment installation, commissioning, acceptance, overhauls, retrofits, and technical modification projects in collaboration with the Renesola technical team.

- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance, inspection, and overhaul plans to maximize equipment reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) while minimizing breakdowns and maintenance costs.

- Manage equipment upgrades, retrofits, outsourcing activities, and review equipment improvement and innovation proposals.

- Plan and manage CAPEX, equipment renewal, maintenance, overhaul, safety, and spare parts budgets while optimizing inventory.

- Establish departmental roles and responsibilities, while ensuring compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety team.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline

- 10+ years of equipment or maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in Photovoltaic (PV), solar, electronics, or automated production lines is strongly preferred. Plant commissioning experience will be an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of automated production equipment (electrical and mechanical), preventive maintenance, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and spare parts and budget management.

- Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with international (Chinese) technical teams.
