Position: Manager - Research & Development (Laboratory)

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲:

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Research & Development (Laboratory) to lead laboratory operations, product development initiatives, and innovation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving research activities, improving product quality, developing new formulations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while supporting the organization’s growth through continuous innovation.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

- Lead and manage Research & Development laboratory operations and activities

- Develop new products, formulations, and process improvements in line with business objectives

- Plan, execute, and monitor research projects from concept to commercialization

- Conduct laboratory testing, analysis, and validation of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products

- Coordinate with production, quality assurance, procurement, and technical teams for successful implementation of R&D initiatives

- Analyze laboratory data and prepare technical reports, research findings, and recommendations for management

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and laboratory safety protocols

- Identify opportunities for product enhancement, cost optimization, and process innovation

- Manage laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, and resource utilization

- Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory staff to maintain high-performance standards

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:

- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, research methodologies, and product development processes

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills

- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and quality control procedures

- Strong understanding of regulatory, safety, and quality compliance requirements

- Proficiency in data analysis, documentation, and Microsoft Office applications

- Strong project management and team leadership capabilities

- Effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

- Familiarity with ERP systems and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) will be preferred

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Textile Chemistry, Material Sciences, or a related field

- 8–10 years of relevant experience in Research & Development and laboratory management

- Experience in textile, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environments will be preferred
