Manager Product Developer

 

The incumbent will be responsible for leading product development initiatives within the Denim Studio, driving innovation, trend development, and commercially viable denim collections aligned with buyer requirements and market trends.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1) Lead end-to-end denim product development from concept to final sample. 

2) Develop innovative denim styles, washes, finishes, fits, and constructions based on market trends and buyer requirements. 

3) Develop and present 3D virtual denim samples using CLO 3D, including garment visualization, fit assessment, and design modifications.

4) Coordinate with Design, R&D, Merchandising, Washing, Sourcing, and Production teams. 

5) Manage seasonal development calendars and ensure timely completion of samples. 

6) Drive newness and innovation in denim fabrics, washes, trims, techniques, and garment details. 

7) Evaluate product feasibility, costing, quality, and manufacturing requirements. 

8) Review samples and provide technical and aesthetic feedback for improvement. 

9) Prepare product presentations and development proposals for buyers and management. 

10) Conduct market and competitor research to identify new product opportunities. 

11) Lead and mentor the product development team to achieve development targets. 

 

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field.

Experience : 6–8 years of experience in Denim Product Development / R&D / Design, preferably in garment manufacturing.

KSA : Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, garment construction, trends, and product development processes.
