Position: Manager - Planning

Location: Karachi

 

The incumbent will be responsible for leading production planning activities, ensuring optimal capacity utilization, on-time order execution, and seamless coordination across departments to meet delivery commitments and business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1) Develop and manage production plans to ensure timely order execution and shipment readiness. 

2) Monitor factory capacity and optimize loading plans across cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing operations. 

3) Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, IE, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align production schedules with customer requirements. 

4) Track order progress and proactively identify potential delays and bottlenecks. 

5) Drive on-time delivery performance through effective planning and resource allocation. 

6) Analyze production data and prepare capacity, efficiency, and delivery performance reports. 

7) Monitor material availability and coordinate with Procurement and Stores teams to avoid production disruptions. 

8) Lead short-term and long-term production planning initiatives to support business growth. 

9) Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and factory resources. 

10) Conduct regular planning reviews and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance. 

11) Develop contingency plans to address production challenges and changing priorities. 

12) Support management in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic capacity planning activities.

 

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Textile / Industrial / Production Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.

Experience : 6–8 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or Manufacturing Operations within the garment industry.

KSA : Strong knowledge of capacity planning, production scheduling, critical path management, and manufacturing processes.
