Airlink Communication Ltd is Hiring: Manager Imports
Location: Lahore
Join our dynamic team as “Manager Imports” to oversee import operations, ensure regulatory compliance and drive cost-effective procurement and logistics that support seamless business operations.
Manager Imports is responsible to:
Oversee complete import cycle from order placement to final delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers for shipment schedules and documentation.
Manage import documentation including LCs, invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, Form-E, GD filing.
Liaise with clearing agents, freight forwarders and customs authorities.
Ensure compliance with local import regulations, customs laws and central bank policies.
Monitor shipment timelines and resolve delays, discrepancies and demurrage issues.
Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs.
Maintain accurate records of duties, taxes and landed costs.
Coordinate with warehouse and finance teams for inventory planning and payments.
Track and report key KPIs such as clearance time, cost efficiency, and shipment accuracy.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
5–7 years of experience in import management (preferably consumer electronics).
Strong knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes and import regulations.
Experience handling LCs and banking documentation.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
