š Job Opportunity: Manager Imports ā Apparel Industry (Faisalabad)
We are looking for a Manager Imports to join our leading Apparel Manufacturing Company based in Faisalabad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all import activities including documentation,Ā
Ā clearance, and coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Ensure timely availability of imported raw materials, trims, and machineryĀ
Ā for production requirements.
- Handle LC (Letter of Credit), TT payments, and ensure compliance withĀ
Ā banking and customs regulations.
- Liaise with internal departments (procurement, accounts, and production)Ā
Ā to align import timelines with operational needs.
- Monitor international shipment tracking and resolve any import-relatedĀ
Ā issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and logisticĀ
Ā partners to ensure cost-effective operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelorās/Masterās degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, or aĀ
Ā related field.
- 5ā7 years of relevant experience in imports (preferably in the textile orĀ
Ā apparel sector).
- Strong knowledge of import procedures, HS codes, customs regulations,Ā
Ā and incoterms.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
