Manager Finance

HABIBMETRO Exchange Services Ltd. is inviting applications for "Manager Finance”, for its Head Office – Karachi.

The candidate should possess:

Education: 

Minimum Graduation. Post-graduation and professional qualification will be preferred.

Technical competencies: 

Good Analytical Skills, MS Excel, In depth knowledge of Exchange Co overall operations

Behavioral competencies: 

Good communication, writing and presentation skills

Experience:

5 to 7 years of relevant experience

Technical Skillset: 

Good Analytical Skills, Command over MS Excel & In-depth knowledge of Exchange Company’s overall operations. Knowledge of regulatory directives including EC & FC Manuals.

Responsibilities:

Review and approval of accounting vouchers and other related documents.

Ensure compliance with regulations and policies & procedures of the Company.

Assist in preparation and monitoring of Company’s budget.

Liaise with internal departments, auditors & regulators to ensure annual monitoring and compliances are carried.

Coordinate with business in effective cash management, optimizing cash flows, assisting in overseeing transactions, and managing bank relationships effectively.

Balance assets and liabilities considering currency holdings and ensuring efficient fund utilization.

Identify and assess suitable investment/lending opportunities for surplus funds, maximize investment returns while complying with regulatory guidelines and investment policies.

Assess financial risks associated with treasury operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and foreign exchange regulations.

Assisting in effective implementation of accounting and treasury policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management frameworks.

To serve as the point of contact for banks, exchange companies and financial institutions.

Provide accurate and timely reports on treasury activities, including cash positions, foreign exchange exposure, investment performance, and key financial metrics essential for decision-making and compliance purposes.
