Lead SQA Engineer

Nanosoft Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. is looking for a Lead SQA Engineer for its Karachi office. 

Experience: 6+ years

Education: BS-CS 

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the team’s Test Strategy and Test Plans. 

• Create thorough and well-structured test cases with detailed test scenarios. • Involve in Test Planning, Monitoring and Tracking. 

• Review and ensure testing activities meet the defined quality levels of the project. 

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, manual and automation scripts based on project requirements.

• Establish QA processes and procedures. This can include preparing documents that outline testing processes, generating use cases to ensure that testing captures the software or system’s functional requirements. 

• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, which includes establishing metrics and applying industry best practices to ensure quality goals are met. • Develop, enact, and manage testing schedules, ensuring that the QA team meets expectations and deadlines. 

• Throughout the development and QA process, maintain detailed documentation related to the software or system. These documents provide developers and engineers with vital information about software performance and issues and will be used in future development work. 

• Conduct rigorous testing throughout the development process, identifying potential issues and reporting them back to development teams. 

• Coordinate bug fixes and software enhancements with the development team by ensuring stability and usability through testing. Test the next iteration of the software to ensure that those bugs have been eliminated. 

• Monitor team activities to ensure that they meet schedules, specifically when multiple projects are in process at once.
