📍 Islamabad | Onsite

Melior ITS is looking for a Lead Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in .NET Core, Web APIs, React.js, and state management to lead development and deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of .NET Core–based applications

• Design and develop secure, scalable .NET Web APIs and backend services

• Develop and maintain React.js–based frontend applications

• Implement and manage state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or equivalent)

• Ensure seamless frontend–backend integration and API performance

• Write clean, scalable, secure, and maintainable code following SOLID principles and OOP best practices

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers; conduct code reviews

• Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Participate in system design, architectural decisions, and performance optimization

• Ensure application reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and QA collaboration

• Support CI/CD pipelines and work closely with DevOps teams for smooth deployments

• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience, with strong focus on .NET technologies

• Strong expertise in .NET Core (C#) and Web APIs

• Solid hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, etc.)

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns

• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server, Azure Services, and Visual Studio

• Experience working with MongoDB and relational SQL databases

• Proven experience in unit testing and ensuring solution reliability

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies; DevOps experience is a plus
