Position: IT Officer

Location: Lahore & Multan.

 

Job Overview: 

The IT Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role involves providing technical support to end-users, implementing IT policies and procedures, and ensuring the security and integrity of IT infrastructure. 

 

Responsibilities:

Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. 

Respond to user inquiries, and diagnose and resolve technical problems.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, applications software, printers, scanners.

Maintain and administer computer networks, including local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).

CCTV Surveillance, monitoring, installation of security Equipment, switches, POEs, Networks, DVR/NVR, IP-based Cameras (incl. IP PABX/Biometric Attendance System, etc.)

Ensure network security, connectivity, and performance.

Manage and monitor servers, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

Assist in the selection and procurement of IT equipment and services.

Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

Respond to and mitigate security incidents and breaches.

Maintain inventory & documentation for IT equipment.

Providing technical support across the organization via email/call / remote assistance. 

Experience

1 to 2 Years of relevant experience 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

Proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. 

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
