Required: IT Help Desk Support Specialist - ISLAMABAD
Symmetry Group IS seeking a skilled IT Help Desk Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to end-users and ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to support tickets via phone, email, and in-person
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Install, configure, and maintain systems, software, and peripherals
- Assist with network connectivity issues and escalate when required
- Perform routine maintenance and system updates
- Document issues, solutions, and FAQs
- Support and train users on IT systems and applications
- Maintain accurate records of support requests
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve systems and services
Requirements:
- Experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and system configuration
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN) preferred
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
