Job Title: Executive - Import
Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Manage import documentation including LC, advance payments, invoices, packing lists, B/L, and other shipping documents.
Coordinate with banks for LC opening, amendments, and payment processing.
Follow up with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents for timely shipments.
Assist in customs clearance and ensure compliance with import regulations.
Review HS codes, customs tariffs, duties, and taxes.
Prepare import cost sheets and maintain shipment records.
Monitor shipment status and resolve documentation or clearance issues.
Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and Stores departments for smooth import operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in Import Operations.
Strong understanding of LC, customs procedures, and import documentation.
