PK Meat and Food Company (Pvt.) Ltd. is offering a 3-month internship opportunity for a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) Intern. This internship is ideal for fresh graduates or final-year DVM students seeking hands-on experience in poultry processing and quality control.
* Key Responsibilities:
Poultry receiving as per established company protocols
Conducting ante-mortem and post-mortem inspections
Disease bird identification and management
Monitoring and controlling processing activities to ensure only compliant and healthy birds are received
Ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
* Eligibility Criteria:
DVM graduate or final-year DVM student
Basic knowledge of poultry health, diseases, and meat processing
Willingness to work in a processing plant environment
Good observational and reporting skills
