Switch Communications is hiring - DevOps Executive
📍 Islamabad | Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Linux servers, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain VAS systems (SMS Gateways, SIP Trunking, Asterisk IVR).
- Implement high availability solutions (HAProxy, Redis, clustering).
- Automate deployments and monitoring using Bash, Python, Ansible.
- Manage Docker environments, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and AWS setups.
- Deploy and maintain monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong Linux and database administration skills (MySQL replication, clustering).
- Hands-on experience with VAS systems, messaging platforms, and high availability setups.
- Proficiency in scripting, automation, and containerization.
- Experience with messaging/streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with cloud (AWS) and virtualization (VMware/Proxmox).
