We’re Hiring: Design Engineer – Automotive (SolidWorks Electrical)
📍 Islamabad, Pakistan | 🕒 Full-Time
Cavalier Group of Companies is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer (Automotive) with hands-on experience in SolidWorks Electrical. If you’re passionate about automotive innovation and electrical design, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
🔧 What You’ll Do
• Design and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and 2D/3D
harness layouts using CAD tools
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems teams for seamless
integration
• Support vehicle-level electrical architecture development
• Manage and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA sessions, and prototype
troubleshooting
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams for design feasibility
• Assist in engineering change management and ensure compliance with
industry standards
✅ What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Strong expertise in SolidWorks Electrical (schematic & 3D routing)
• Good understanding of automotive electrical systems and wiring harnesses
• Familiarity with standards like ISO 26262, IATF 16949, ASME Y14.5 (plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
