Position: Deputy Manager - Material Sourcing
Role Summary:
-Manage sourcing and procurement of dyes & chemicals in line with production requirements.
-Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
-Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency.
-Monitor market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities.
-Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
-Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and R&D teams for material specifications and approvals.
-Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
-Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting.
-Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
-BBA / MBA or equivalent qualification.
-Minimum 5 – 6 years of relevant experience in material sourcing, preferably in dyes & chemicals.
-Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
-Good understanding of textile chemicals and sourcing processes.
-Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
-Strong analytical and communication skills.
