We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager – Fixed Assets to manage and enhance the organization’s fixed asset accounting and asset management processes. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, asset tracking, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in fixed asset accounting, asset register management, and financial reporting. A sound understanding of IAS 16, asset management procedures, SAP, and advanced Excel is preferred.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate capitalization and depreciation of assets, and coordinating physical verification and tagging of assets. The role is also responsible for supporting asset disposals, maintaining proper documentation, assisting with audit and compliance requirements, and coordinating with procurement and operations teams to ensure accurate asset recording and tracking.

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, depreciation calculations, capitalization procedures, and asset lifecycle management. Experience with SAP, Excel, audit coordination, and internal controls will be highly valued. Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are required to succeed in this role.
