Deputy Manager Business Analyst - Smart Building

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is looking for a "Deputy Manager Business Analyst - Smart Building" in their IT department.

Location: Karachi

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Information Technology.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in smart infrastructure or industrial automation projects.

The candidate will act as a functional lead to align Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) with Production Management Control (PMC) systems, ensuring synchronization of data to optimize facility operations. The role includes tracking system utilization using vehicle identification logic to automate building functions such as climate and lighting control.

The individual will define and monitor business KPIs (e.g., cost efficiency and carbon footprint reduction), re-engineer workflows to digitize facility management processes, and establish governance frameworks for smart building data usage, including utility billing and departmental cross-charging.

The candidate will also develop standardized policies for smart workspace usage, act as a liaison between infrastructure, Finance, HR, and senior management, and design executive dashboards for performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making.

Additionally, the role requires ensuring compliance with ESG frameworks, data privacy regulations, and environmental standards, while supporting strategic planning through OPEX/CAPEX modeling and business process analysis.
