Job Title: Database Designer / SQL Database Specialist
Location: PECHS, Karachi
Experience: Minimum 4 years
Core Objective:
Design, implement, and document scalable database structures with complete schema visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and design efficient schemas.
Develop and execute SQL DDL scripts for tables, views, and indexes.
Define Primary/Foreign Keys and constraints for data integrity.
Create and maintain ERDs, data dictionaries, and relationship mappings.
Collaborate with developers to align databases with applications.
Review and optimize database performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience in database design/development.
Strong SQL (DDL) and normalization knowledge (1NF–3NF).
Hands-on experience with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
Proficiency with ERD/modeling tools (MySQL Workbench, pgAdmin, Lucidchart, Draw.io).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s in CS/IT or related field.
Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
