We are hiring “Data Analysts” at Systems Limited (Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad).

 

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct business discovery sessions to understand project requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams (DBA, MIS, and System Support) to translate requirements into data marts and reports.

Prepare detailed data mapping documents for various layers of the data platform (Raw–Bronze, EDM–Silver, Project–Gold).

Provide ongoing support to Data Engineers, Data Modelers, QA Testers, and Power BI Developers during project phases.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of reliable, insightful, and business-aligned data solutions.

 

Skills & Competencies

Core Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Solid understanding of Banking Retail, Business & Wholesale products.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

 

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Apache Spark, or similar data processing languages.

Experience with Power BI, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or equivalent tools.

Strong grasp of Data Warehousing, ETL concepts, and data modeling techniques.

Experience with Azure or AWS, including data integration, storage, and compute services.

Familiarity with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, Avro, XML).

Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and performance tuning best practices.

 

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with hands-on Azure Databricks and SQL expertise.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking domain (data, reporting, or MIS).

Experience in developing data pipelines and end-to-end data product deployment.

Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
