Category Planning Manager

Bachaa Party is looking to hire a skilled and experienced professional for the position of Category Planning Manager.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

o Develop and execute category-wise business plans aligned with overall company sales and margin targets.

o Analyze sales trends, historical data, and market demand to forecast future performance.

o Monitor category performance against budgets, targets, and last year benchmarks.

o Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies to improve category performance

o Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels across all stores and channels.

o Ensure effective assortment planning for Toys, Infant Accessories, Jewelry, and other hardline categories.

o Monitor stock aging, slow-moving items, and inventory turnover to optimize stock health.

o Forecast demand based on seasonality, campaigns, and promotional activities.

o Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stock-outs or overstock situations.

o Collaborate with Commercial, Supply Chain, Ecommerce and Retail/Operations teams to ensure smooth planning and execution.

o Align promotional planning, pricing strategies, and campaign requirements with inventory planning.

o Coordinate with store operations to address product availability and assortment gaps.

o Prepare regular MIS reports and dashboards related to sales performance, stock levels, and category KPIs.

o Track KPIs such as sell-through, inventory turnover, stock cover, and category contribution.

o Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis.

o Identify gaps in planning processes and implement improvements for better forecasting and stock management.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.

o 5–8 years of experience in retail planning, merchandising planning, or business planning.

o Experience in Hardline retail categories (Toys, Infant, Accessories, etc.) preferred.
