Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Procurement to support procurement operations, drive process improvements, and enhance efficiency through strategic initiatives at our Head Office in Karachi.


Key Responsibilities:

- Support strategic and process improvement initiatives within procurement to optimize cost management and adopt best practices.

- Assist in projects related to the virtual centralized store and contribute to streamlining procurement workflows.

- Support supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and vendor coordination activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement Operations, IT, SAP, Finance and Technical Departments to identify operational improvement opportunities.

- Assist in implementing digitalization initiatives and enhancements to procurement systems.

- Track, analyze, and report measurable improvements in procurement operations.

- Ensure adherence to internal policies, governance standards, and compliance requirements.


Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Project Management

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, process improvement, or project management within FMCG, food, or manufacturing sectors

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)

- Strong project management and analytical skills

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

- Technical procurement knowledge and vendor management expertise

- Strong negotiation and financial analysis skills
