Ismail Industries Limited is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Maintenance to join our team at Port Qasim, Karachi. This position will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, preventive maintenance, and reliability of machinery while upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the trouble-free mechanical operation of production machinery.
- Inspect machines daily and coordinate with operators and in-charges to promptly address any observed malfunctions.
- Plan and execute routine maintenance and timely repairs while maintaining accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Ensure the availability of lubricants and chemicals required to support uninterrupted operations.
- Train operators and workers on the safe operation of machinery.
- Maintain logbooks for Oil Heaters, Compressors, and Chillers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience in maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to identify equipment issues early and make prompt, effective decisions to minimize downtime
- Sound understanding of industrial safety procedures and maintenance compliance
