AM Compliance (Finance)

House of Habib is seeking an AM Compliance (Finance) for one of its group companies! The position is Karachi based (Shahrah-e-Faisal) and following is a brief JD:

🔹 Internal Controls & Process Design and Financial Audits

Implementation and improvements of financial and internal controls across business processes
Regularly update Standard Procedure Manuals for Procurement, Financial Controls, Treasury, CAPEX/Fixed Assets, Sales, and Inventory and ensure that businesses are in compliance of them.
Manage the centralized vendor database in SAP, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and policy compliance.
Lead coordination for annual audits, respond to audit queries, and ensure timely closure of audit cycles.
Capitalization of assets and maintenance of fixed asset register.
Preparation of subsidiaries financial statements in compliance of IFRS.
Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
Manage the vendor payment cycle and accruals process.

🔹 Secretarial & Board-Related Functions

Play a critical role in preparing materials for Board, Audit Committee, and AGM meetings.
Draft and maintain meeting minutes, assist in secretarial compliance, and manage correspondence with stakeholders. Lead the share transfer process and coordinate with Company Share Registrar for routine matters.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a related field / ACCA / CA / Equivalent
3+ years of relevant experience in compliance, corporate reporting, and statutory compliance.
Strong knowledge of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Sound understanding of internal controls, audit, and vendor management cycles.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
