𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

Synapsify is seeking an AI Engineer with expertise in Voice AI and Speech Technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the complete machine learning lifecycle, from model development to production deployment, and will play a key role in taking models from research to production. This role requires strong collaboration with engineering, product, and platform teams to deliver scalable AI solutions, along with sound judgment in model evaluation, performance optimization, and applied research.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, quality filtering, and automated preparation of training-ready datasets.

• Manage end-to-end data annotation workflows and integrate annotated datasets into model training and fine-tuning pipelines.

• Train, fine-tune, and optimize Voice AI models using appropriate strategies aligned with use case requirements, performance targets, and resource constraints.

• Conduct comprehensive model evaluations using objective metrics and subjective assessments, perform comparative analyses, and drive iterative improvements based on results, user feedback, and benchmarks.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-availability deployment architectures for serving AI models in production with focus on latency, throughput, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deploy AI solutions, take initiative on projects, and stay current with advancements in AI/ML and speech technologies.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience building, training, optimizing, and deploying ML models in production.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch), including model optimization, experimentation, and serving through API frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct R&D, evaluate and benchmark models for performance and cost efficiency, and continuously iterate to improve quality.

• Practical experience with Linux-based server environments including setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model training and deployment.

• Strong understanding of product requirements with excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

• Experience in AI product-focused development environments.

• Research experience in AI/ML, particularly Speech or Voice AI, including publications.
