Role Description

This is a remote opportunity based in Pakistan for a Back End Developer. We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer with 2–5 years of real-world experience to design, build, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI/ML systems. You will work end-to-end—from data pipelines and model development to scalable serving, monitoring, and continuous improvement of live AI features.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

- 2–5 years of hands-on industry experience building and shipping AI/ML systems (start-ups or scale-ups preferred).

- Strong Python proficiency and experience with modern ML frameworks:

 Core: PyTorch (preferred) or TensorFlow

 MLOps: MLflow, Weights & Biases, Kubeflow, Dagster, Airflow, or similar

 Serving: FastAPI, Triton Inference Server, TorchServe, BentoML, Sagemaker,

 LLM tooling: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, DSPy, vLLM, Text Generation Inference (TGI)

Solid understanding of:

Transformers, attention mechanisms, LoRA/QLoRA, instruction tuning

Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Chroma, PGVector)

Evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, DeepEval, Giskard)

Experience taking models to production (Docker, Kubernetes basics, REST/gRPC APIs).

Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) – at least one deeply.

Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals (Git, testing, code reviews, design patterns).

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Relevant experience with cloud services and APIs is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Prior experience in B2B or SME-focused fintech platforms will be added advantage.

Exposure to AI/ML for cyber risk management, fraud detection, or alternative scoring models.

Contributions to open-source fintech projects.
