Tax Compliance (Income Tax & Sales Tax): Ensure timely and accurate filing of Income Tax and Sales Tax returns. Oversee tax payments and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations. Maintain updated knowledge of local, provincial, and federal tax laws. Manage reconciliation of tax-related accounts and ledgers. 2. Handling Tax Notices and Assessments: Review and respond to notices from tax authorities in a timely and effective manner. Liaise with tax consultants and auditors during assessments or audits. Represent the company during tax audits and inquiries as required. 3. Sales Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor sales data for accurate tax calculation and reporting.
