The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in denial management, claim follow-up, and A/R recovery for Internal Medicine/Primary Care practices and experience in EHR -CureMD. You will play a key role in reducing outstanding balances and maximizing reimbursement. Key Responsibilities: -Review and follow up on unpaid and denied medical claims. -Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and take appropriate follow-up actions. -Payments Posting (Patient/Plan) -Contact insurance companies to resolve claim issues and secure payments. -Track and report on aging A/R trends and progress. -Coordinate with medical billers and coders to resolve billing discrepancies. -Work on rejected claims and re-submit corrected claims as needed. -Maintain detailed and accurate records of all follow-up activities. -Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and payer requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: -Minimum 3 years of experience in A/R follow-up and denial management in a healthcare billing environment. -Strong knowledge of the revenue cycle, especially for Internal Medicine / Primary Care practices. -Familiarity with insurance payer guidelines, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial carriers. -Preferred experience with EHR systems, especially CureMD. -Proficiency with billing software and spreadsheets. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. -Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during night shift hours. -High attention to detail and documentation.
