ExpiredLeopards Courier Services is hiring for Business Manager Giftwifts.
This position will lead and grow a specialized service line that focuses on gift packaging, gifting services, add-ons, premium delivery or โdelight factorโ services. The incumbent will develop strategy, drive revenue growth, manage operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, operations, customer service, finance) to deliver a high quality product offering.
Job Role:
* Define strategy and roadmap for Giftwift services - market positioning, service features, pricing, revenue targets.
* Conduct market research: customer demand, competitor offerings, cost benchmarking.
* Identify new business opportunities, partnerships (e.g. with gift suppliers, vendor tie-ups), expansion into new geographic areas or customer segments.
* Set financial targets (revenue, margin, cost of goods, operational cost) and monitor performance.
* Develop budgets; control costs especially for packaging materials, special handling, and delivery extras.
* Design and enforce SLAโs / KPIs: on-time delivery, packaging quality, damage rate, customer satisfaction.
* Work to minimise wastage, returns, damaged gifts and packaging.
* Implement process improvements; possibly standardize packaging, reduce lead times.
* Work with customer service to capture feedback, complaints, returns, and convert into improvement actions.
* Liaise with sales / marketing to promote Giftwift offerings, bundles, upsell.
* Provide regular reports to senior management showing trends, issues, opportunities.
* Monitor and ensure environmental sustainability where possible (e.g., recyclable packaging).
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelorโs degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field.
* At least 5-7 years experience, ideally with focus on value-added services / packaging / special delivery.
* Strong experience in process design, budget management, P&L responsibility.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical skills and expertise in data / dashboards.
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
* Experience in gift / premium / specialty packaging business.
* Background in product development / design for packaging.
* Knowledge of international shipping / customs for fragile items.
* Familiarity with digital tools / software for inventory, quality management, WMS (Warehouse Management System).
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
