Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Manager – Production Engineering Location: Port Qasim, Karachi Thal Engineering is seeking a dynamic and technically strong Assistant Manager – Production Engineering to support efficient production processes, drive continuous improvement and ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess solid engineering expertise, hands-on experience in production systems and the ability to optimize processes for quality, productivity and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: -Lead and support daily production engineering activities to ensure smooth operations. -Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts. -Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvement actions. -Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance and planning teams to resolve operational issues. -Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards in all production activities. -Support new product development, trials and process validations. -Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, SOPs and performance reports. -Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste minimization and productivity enhancement. Requirements: -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. -Experience: 4–6 years in production engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment. -Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools. -Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
