Job Advertisement: Manager / Deputy Manager – Taxation Location: Lucky Landmark (LuckyOne Mall) - Karachi Department: Finance We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager / Deputy Manager – Taxation to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all direct and indirect tax matters, ensuring full compliance with tax laws, and supporting strategic tax planning for the organization. Key Responsibilities • Manage timely filing of Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, SST, and all statutory returns. • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual tax computations, including deferred tax. • Oversee withholding tax deductions, deposits, and certificate issuance. • Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, appeals, and coordination with tax authorities (FBR, SRB, PRA, etc.). • Conduct tax analysis for new business initiatives and review contracts for tax compliance. • Maintain complete tax documentation and support internal/external audits. • Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly. • Prepare periodic tax reports and identify tax planning opportunities. • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants; ensure proper tax accounting in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle). • Conduct tax compliance training and manage tax registration/deregistration for outlets. Qualifications & Requirements • CA Finalist / ACCA Member / ICMA / Master’s in Accounting or Finance. • 8–10 years’ experience in taxation, preferably in a corporate or retail/mall environment. • Strong knowledge of Income Tax and Sales Tax laws. • Proficient in MS Office and ERP taxation modules. • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • High integrity and strong attention to detail.
