About the Role
We are a rapidly growing wellness device and services company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist to support our day-to-day finance operations. This is a full-time remote role for someone who is organized, accurate, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader team.
The ideal candidate has strong bookkeeping fundamentals, experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, and the discipline to manage recurring financial processes with accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable
Record and classify financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
Maintain accuracy of the general ledger
Assist in monthly close and preparation of internal financial summaries
Support budgeting, expense tracking, and cash flow monitoring
Prepare reports and schedules for leadership review
Coordinate with external CPA or tax/accounting advisors as needed
Ensure supporting documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready
Financial Controls & Process Discipline
Review transactions for completeness, accuracy, and proper coding
Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, statements, and reports
Help identify gaps and improve finance processes and reporting workflows
Flag discrepancies, overdue items, or unusual transactions promptly
Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
2โ5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting operations
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
Strong understanding of reconciliations, AP, AR, and ledger maintenance
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Clear written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting a US-based company
Familiarity with month-end reporting and documentation requirements
Experience working with inventory, devices, or product-based businesses
